Is it possible to disable the creation of the OpenShift GitOps instance ServiceMonitor on OpenShift Container Platform 4

Issue

• We are receiving unexpected alerts in the Cluster monitoring, related to ArgoCD in end-user projects. It seems that gitops-operator adds openshift.io/cluster-monitoring=true label to a namespace when an instance is created. As this is undesired behavior, we are wondering whether the gitops-operator can be forced to monitor those instances with user workload monitoring or entirely disable the creation of the ServiceMonitor?
• Is it possible to disable the creation of the OpenShift GitOps instance ServiceMonitor on OpenShift Container Platform 4
• We don't need monitoring for all ArgoCD instances and are wondering how to disable the creation of ServiceMonitor that are automatically created.
