iSCSI target discovery fails with error - iSCSI PDU timed out

Issue

  • iscsiadm discovery command is failing with following errors:

    $ iscsiadm -m discovery -t st -p 192.0.2.10
    iscsiadm: discovery login to 192.0.2.10 rejected: target error (03/01)
    iscsiadm: discovery login to 192.0.2.10 rejected: target error (03/01)
    iscsiadm: discovery login to 192.0.2.10 rejected: target error (03/01)
    iscsiadm: discovery login to 192.0.2.10 rejected: target error (03/01)
    iscsiadm: discovery login to 192.0.2.10 rejected: target error (03/01)
    iscsiadm: discovery login to 192.0.2.10 rejected: target error (03/01)
    iscsiadm: connection login retries (reopen_max) 5 exceeded
    iscsiadm: Could not perform SendTargets discovery: iSCSI PDU timed out
