Issue

  • Unable to complete logical volume migration using pvmove in nodes of a high availability cluster with clvmd.
  • Restarting pvmove failed with following errors.

    # pvmove
      /dev/mapper/mpathv: Moved: 100.00%
      LVM command executed by lvmpolld failed.
      For more information see lvmpolld messages in syslog or lvmpolld log file.
    
  • lvm command shows "WARNING: Cannot find matching striped segment".

      WARNING: Cannot find matching striped segment for vg_shared/pvmove0_mimage_0.
      WARNING: Cannot find matching error segment for vg_shared/pvmove0_mimage_1.
      WARNING: Cannot find matching striped segment for vg_shared/pvmove0.
