  • Why enormous number of ping time 1073741824000 ms has been logged?
  • The ping command reports an unrealistically large latency:
64 bytes from 10.x.x.42: icmp_seq=1 ttl=61 time=1073741824000 ms
64 bytes from 10.x.x.42: icmp_seq=2 ttl=61 time=1073741824000 ms
64 bytes from 10.x.x.42: icmp_seq=3 ttl=61 time=1073741824000 ms
64 bytes from 10.x.x.42: icmp_seq=4 ttl=61 time=1073741824000 ms
