- Setting VLAN protocol to Stacked VLAN fails with
Protocol not supported:
# ip link set dev PFNAME vf X vlan XXXX proto 802.1ad
RTNETLINK answers: Protocol not supported
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8.8
- SR-IOV VF (Virtual Function)
- 802.1ad "Stacked VLAN"
- VLAN set on VF from hypervisor with
ip linkor equivalent (libvirt, etc)
