When upgrading OpenShift Logging to 5.7.0, the Operator fails with "CreateContainerConfigError"

Issue

  • When OpenShift Logging is upgraded to OpenShift Logging 5.7.0, the Logging Operator Pod is showing a CreateContainerConfigError with the following error message:

    Warning  Failed          13m (x12 over 15m)  kubelet            Error: container has runAsNonRoot and image will run as root (pod: "cluster-logging-operator-bbf8b954b-stv2l_openshift-logging(92176a5e-0f4f-4675-ae93-4741c065c674)", container: cluster-logging-operator)
