An ocf:heartbeat:VirtualDomain resource fails to start in pacemaker cluster

Issue

  • The start operation of the cluster resource ocf:heartbeat:VirtualDomain fails to start with the error messages below :

    Failed to create domain from /etc/libvirt/qemu/demo.xml
    Cannot access storage file '/dev/vg/lv' (as uid:107, gid:107): No such file or directory
    
  • Cluster node fails to access logical volume group corresponding to the libvirt configuration file of Virtual domain resource.

Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server release 7 (with the High Availability and Resilient Storage Add Ons)
  • Pacemaker
