  • In /etc/pki/tls/openssl.cnf, RHEL9 has the following under the [ crypto_policy ] section:
.include = /etc/crypto-policies/back-ends/opensslcnf.config
  • RHEL8 has the following (i.e. without the =) :
.include /etc/crypto-policies/back-ends/opensslcnf.config

  • openssl
