Yum raises "Status code: 404" error when downloading rpms from a custom repository

Issue

Yum raises the following error when updating/installing rpms from a custom repository:

[MIRROR] foo-1.0.1-abcede.x86_64.rpm: Status code: 404 for https://satellite.example.com/pulp/content/my_org/Library/my_content_view/custom/my_product/my_custom_repo/Packages/f/foo-1.0.1-abcede.x86_64.rpm
[FAILED] foo-1.0.1-abcede.x86_64.rpm: No more mirrors to try - All mirrors were already tried without success
...
Error: Error downloading packages:
 foo-1.0.1-abcede.x86_64: Cannot download, all mirrors were already tried without success
