Issue

  • Is it possible to restart the gnome-shell process safely without destroying any other processes?
  • The gnome-shell process consumes a lot of memory sometimes, and we want to restart it.
  • In the dialog ‘Enter a Command’, after inputting the ‘r’ then enter, the gnome-shell process’s PID is not changed.
