ArgoCD notifications not using correct repo-server service in RHOCP 4

Issue

  • The notification service assumes that for sending notifications it should access the service argocd-repo-server.
  • Is it possible to enable notifications for custom gitopsservice?

  • Notifications controller is throwing the following error:

    connection error: desc = \"transport: Error while dialing dial tcp: lookup argocd-repo-server on 172.30.0.10:53: server misbehaving\"

  • Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform (RHOCP) 4
  • Red Hat OpenShift GitOps 1.7, 1.8, 1.9, 1.10, 1.11
