Wrong instance type of cluster showed in RHACM WEB UI

Issue

The RHACM WEB UI shows wrong type of worker instances - for example, UI shows worker type "Standard_D2s_v3", but real worker type is different:

$ oc get machines  -n openshift-machine-api -l machine.openshift.io/cluster-api-machine-role=worker
NAME                                 PHASE     TYPE              REGION       ZONE   AGE
cluster01-worker-westeurope1-XXXXX   Running   Standard_D4s_v3   westeurope   1      18h
...

The issue should appear after changing worker type.

Environment

  • Red Hat Advanced Cluster Management for Kubernetes (RHACM)
  • Managed OCP cluster hosted in Azure environment
