OpenShift Container Platform Ceph-CSI Kernel Module Parameter is not applied.
Issue
- OpenShift Container Platform: Ceph-CSI Kernel Module Parameter is not applied.
- Due to the issue detailed in KCS #6617781 - MDS crashes In function 'std::ostream& operator<<(std::ostream&, const ClientMetricType&)' a persistent kernel parameter must be applied the the Worker nodes which make use of the CephFS storage in an
OpenShiftcluster. - In this case the parameter applied is
disable_send_metricsbut the solution in this KCS can be applied generaly for Kernel modules which need a parameter set in OpenShift environments.
