Provided secret is empty GRPC Error raised when attempting resize PVC

Issue

Attempting to resize a PVC is not working, getting below errors:

expand_controller.go:292] Ignoring the PVC "gtx-XXX-XXX-prd/data-mariadb-0" (uid: "<ID>-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXXXXXXXXXX") : didn't find a plugin capable of expanding the volume; waiting for an external controller to process this PVC.
