Libvirtd identifies Ice Lake CPU as Broadwell for newly added computes

Issue

  • The CPUs of new compute nodes get falsely identified as Broadwell. This prevents from pinning the cluster to Ice Lake and from providingavx512 to customers.
  • Reduced feature set available when computes are not identified as Ice Lake.
