Scheduler parameters set in /etc/sysctl.conf are overridden by tuned after server reboot

Solution Verified - Updated -

Issue

  • The scheduler parameters sched_min_granularity_ns and sched_wakeup_granularity_ns get overridden by tuned post-reboot even with reapply_sysctl = 1.
  • Added the scheduler parameter values in /etc/sysctl.conf or /etc/sysctl.d/< filename >.conf did not persistent after the server reboot.
