Solution Verified - Updated -

Issue

  • I'm replacing tool oswatcher with PCP, we need to know configuration files of PCP & also commands/procedures to get output data which is being provided currently by oswatcher.
  • I used tool xyz so far for performance monitoring. How do I get PCP up to monitor the same things in the future? Which of the metrics from PCP give me the same data?
  • Which commands do I need for simple setup?
  • How to for example to extract top (parameter or component/category) data between say start/end times of 3:05am till 3:10am for dt/Mar 09 2023, what exact pcp command we need to use ?

  • Performance Co-Pilot (PCP)
