Openshift authentication: after enabling ROCP at openid provider level, the setting is not refreshed at openshift side.

Issue

  • Enabling or disabling ROCP flow at openid provider level is not refreshed at identity provider in openshift side.
  • When granting ROCP flow in Identity provider, the change is not reflected in OpenShift until authentication-operator in openshift-authentication-operator is restarted.

  • After cluster upgrade, ROCP flow at openid provider level might not be recognized by openshift-authentication-operator which also needs a restart of openshift-authentication-operator
