JBoss EAP 7 responds with unexpected content type of 'application/octet-stream'

Issue

  • We have pages not properly displayed and we note a bad content type of application/octet-stream in the response
  • We request a JSP and unexpectedly receive the JSP source file itself. And the returned content type is not text/html but application/octet-stream.
