device-mapper-multipath-0.8.4-28.el8 breaking multipathing with Dell Unity LUNs

Issue

• After updating to RHEL8.7 all multipath paths are reporting as failed.
• When using device-mapper-multipath-0.8.4-28.el8 or higher versions, multipath -ll is showing all paths as faulty.
