Issue

  • The console on a Diamond Aurora SBC (single board computer) will not display anything when the system is booted without monitor and keyboard 

  • The problem is not seen if the SBC is booted with a monitor and keyboard.

Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 6

  • Diamond Aurora PC/104 SBC (Atom Z530P model)

  • USB keyboard

  • VGA monitor
