Issue

  • Certificate expiration failure reported when pulling/pushing from a registry with valid certificate:

    Failed to pull image "<external-registry>/<image>": rpc error: code = Unknown desc = pinging container registry <external-registry>: Get "https://<external-registry>/v2/": x509: certificate has expired or is not yet valid: current time 20XX-XX-ZZT16:13:35Z is after 20XX-YY-ZZT08:38:06Z
  • The external registries' certificate is not expired.
  • The cluster has a cluster-wide HTTPS proxy configured.
