Unable to use special characters in password of jaas:user-add command
Issue
- Using special characters in a password for the
jaas:user-addconsole command saves the incorrect password to theusers.propertiesfile.
Example:jaas:user-add myuser pas$wordcauses the password to be saved aspas. - What characters can be used in a password for the
