Why Ansible yum Module does not update kernel even after Success?

Issue

• While updating VM to the latest kernel by using yum module like below:

  - name: Do the latest Security Patching
   yum:
     security: yes
     state: latest
   notify:
     - Reboot the host and wait for it to restart
  

  It does not update the Kernel package to latest.

• Kernel package is not updating even after a successful playbook run.
