Issue

  • How do I use the Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) System Roles in Ansible Automation Platform 2? Even though I installed the roles into the controller node, the job didn't work as expected with this error.

ERROR! the role 'linux-system-roles.timesync' was not found in /runner/project/roles:/runner/requirements_roles:/home/runner/.ansible/roles:/usr/share/ansible/roles:/etc/ansible/roles:/runner/project
The error appears to be in '/runner/project/example.yml': line 16, column 7, but may
be elsewhere in the file depending on the exact syntax problem.
The offending line appears to be:
    roles:
      - linux-system-roles.timesync
        ^ here

Environment

  • Ansible Automation Platform 2.x
