Support for virtual hardware version 13 removed in OpenShift Container Platform 4.11 on VMware

Issue

  • The documentation for OpenShift Container Platform (OCP) versions 4.11 and 4.12 states that virtual machines running on vSphere in an OpenShift cluster on VMware are supported on virtual hardware version 13 or newer.
  • Support for virtual hardware version 13 has been removed in OCP 4.11.
