STF: incompatible Elasticsearch version and authentication error on Grafana Console

Issue

During configuration of STF 1.5, the Grafana console displayed below errors and no data displayed on the dashboard:

  • "Support for Elasticsearch versions after their end-of-life (current versions<7.10)" was removed.
  • "Elasticsearch error: Authentication to data source failed".

Environment

  • OpenShift 4.10
  • OpenStack Service Telemetry Framework 1.5
