vSphere CSI driver failing to provision volumes using 'thin-csi' StorageClass

Issue

• PVC with accessMode ReadWriteMany (RWX) provisioned with thin-csi storageclass is stuck in Pending state.

• There are errors like the following ones in the vmware-vsphere-csi-driver-controller pod:

  'ProvisioningFailed' failed to provision volume with StorageClass "thin-csi"
  

  FailedPrecondition desc = fileshare volume creation is not supported on vSAN 67u3 release
  

  no datastores found to create file volume, vsan file service may be disabled
