ovs-configure.sh connects the wrong interface to br-ex upon system reboot in Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform 4.10

Issue

Upon system reboot, overlay networking is broken and the ovnkube-node pod crash loops. Upon further investigation, it can be seen that the wrong physical interface is connected to bridge br-ex. File /var/lib/ovnk/iface_default_hint contains the name of the wrong interface, as well.
