Dynatrace reports a high number of NXDOMAIN responses in OpenShift

Issue

After installing the Dynatrace Monitoring tools, it's noticed there area high number of DNS NXDOMAIN responses replied by the OpenShift Cluster DNS Deployment (CoreDNS).

After enabling DNS trace logging on the DNS Operator, it is seen that there are many DNS search queries performed, similar to the following:

Dynatrace is reporting the DNS NXDOMAIN rate is between 50% & 70% on all Nodes in the cluster.
