Image builder fails to build an image for Azure with "The received access token is not valid"

Issue

When using RH Image builder from the hybrid cloud console and attempting to build an image for Azure, I get the following failure;

searching for a storage account failed: listing resources failed: resources.Client#ListByResourceGroup: Failure responding to request: StatusCode=401 -- Original Error: autorest/azure: Service returned an error. Status=401 Code="InvalidAuthenticationToken" Message="The received access token is not valid: at least one of the claims 'puid' or 'altsecid' or 'oid' should be present. If you are accessing as application please make sure service principal is properly created in the tenant."

unable to build custom images in azure using RH image builder hybrid cloud console.
