How to disable IPA Schema Compat plugin

Solution Verified - Updated -

Issue

The IPA Schema Compatibility plugin can potentially cause performance issues in some deployment scenarios where it can cause Directory server to act as performance bottleneck for LDAP operations while spending too much time in the plugin related processing logic. The performance issues may manifest in higher LDAP operations etimes, higher RAM and CPU usage, as well as worker threads over-utilization where Directory server is unable to process any new, incoming requests in a timely manner, causing LDAP client/s to either time-out or appear to be in a "hang" like state.

Environment
