Ghostscript error "Can't find font with non-string name: false." in RHEL

Issue

We are trying to use a new font with ghostscript, but the command returns the error message "Can't find font with non-string name: false", as follows:

$ gs -dBATCH -dNOPAUSE -sDEVICE=pdfwrite -sOutputFile=j.pdf -f file.ps
