Environment

  • Ansible Automation Platform >= 1.2

Issue

  • Unable to send slack notification through AAP when using correctly configured webhook URL

  • The notifications can be send manually through the same webhook URL

Resolution

  • Ansible Tower/ Automation Controller provides webhook integration with GitHub and GitLab only. In order to configure slack notifications through webhook URL, Mattermost type notification setting can be set in Ansible Automation Platform Controller as a workaround.
