dmidecode bug

Issue

• We are impacted by this bug: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1048207
• We use dmidecode to read the vendor serial numbers for HP, Dell, etc hardware- and this is a primary key for inventory and other automation we use in building and deployment.
• Seeing this..

SMBIOS 2.8 present.
# SMBIOS implementations newer than version 2.7 are not
# fully supported by this version of dmidecode.
