Generic writeback throttling feature is unintentionally turned off when I/O scheduler is changed.
Issue
- When switching from a scheduler like
bfq
that wants to disable the generic writeback throttling feature (WBT
) to a scheduler likenone
that enablesWBT
by default, the feature remains disabled. WBT
disabled state may change Write performance for some workloads.
