Issue

  • Pods deployed on the OpenShift cluster hosted on the RHV infra failed due to volume attachment issues with the following error.
Warning  FailedAttachVolume  54s (x13 over 11m)  attachdetach-controller  AttachVolume.Attach failed for volume "pvc-xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxx" : rpc error: code = Unknown desc = Fault reason is "Operation Failed". Fault detail is "[Cannot attach Virtual Disk. The disk is not shareable and is already attached to a VM.]". HTTP response code is "409". HTTP response message is "409 Conflict".
