Certificate level issues when configuring Red Hat Single Sign-On (RH SSO) behind a Reverse Proxy

Solution Verified - Updated -

Issue

On the Reverseproxy we have multiple virtualhost for authentication: host1.example.com, host2.example.com.

And a virtual Host for the administration of single sign-on: host3.example.com.

The host1.example.com and host3.example.com are in the same certificate.

The host2.example.com is in a different certificate.

If I understand it correctly I need to set ProxyPreseveHost to forward the "real" URL to SSO.

This does not work for the host2.example.com Host as this uses a different certificate.

Environment

  • Red Hat Single Sign-On (RH SSO)
    • 7.X
