Why WLAN interface mac address changes to random value and how to stop it ?
Issue
- When WLAN interface is down, the mac address changes to random value.
But when the same interface is up and connected to SSID, the correct mac address is shown inipcommand. - How to disable mac randomization during scanning and when interface is down.
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7 and above.
- NetworkManager 1.4.0 and above.
