Machine is stuck deleting in OpenStack

Issue

  • When deleting a machine, it gets stuck in "deleting" phase.
  • The conditions in the "Diagnostic Steps" section are met (please do check them, otherwise, this solution doesn't apply)

Environment

  • Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform
    • Any version lower than 4.10.26
