What is correct way to add "semanage fcontext -a -t samba_share_t /public/shared(/.*)?" command in sudo-rule in IPA ?

Solution Verified - Updated -

Issue

  • How do I add /sbin/semanage fcontext -a -t samba_share_t '/public/shared(/.*)?' in sudo-rule in IPA?
  • Added following command in IPA sudo-rule but it's not working, it keeps on asking the password though !authenticate is defined and throws an error "Sorry user ipauser is not allowed to run following command as root on hostname":
/sbin/semanage fcontext -a -t samba_share_t '/public/shared(/.*)?'
  • sudo implementation via IPA (IdM) using special characters not work

Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7
  • Identity Management (IPA)
  • sudo
