Connection drops after adding "nss_initgroups_ignoreusers ALLLOCAL" in /etc/nslcd.conf.

Issue

  • LDAP user login via ssh sometimes fails. But the login succeeds on the 2nd or later attempts.

  • On the client side, the following errors output:

no available LDAP server found: Can't contact LDAP server: Transport endpoint is not connected
ldap_search_ext() failed: Can't contact LDAP server: Broken pipe
