Azure IPI cluster install stuck with error Some cluster operators are stuck updating

Issue

  • Observing that the installation is getting stuck with below error:

    DEBUG Still waiting for the cluster to initialize: Working towards 4.8.1: 655 of 676 done (96% complete) 
    DEBUG Still waiting for the cluster to initialize: Some cluster operators are still updating: authentication, console, ingress 
    timed out waiting for input: auto-logout
    
  • Events in the ingress project show 403 authorization errors:

    $ oc get events -n openshift-ingress
