HumanTask actor not able to claim task when "org.kie.server.bypass.auth.user=true" property is used with RHSSO

Solution Unverified - Updated -

Issue

RHPAM users face problems when claiming tasks when using RHPAM 7.12.0 with RHSSO 7.5 and they configure bypass user authentication mechanism of jBPM using org.kie.server.bypass.auth.user=true property.

When user claim the task using bypass authentication it is returning 403 response and observing below error in server logs

Could not commit session: org.jbpm.services.task.exception.PermissionDeniedException: User '[UserImpl:'user1']' does not have permissions to execute operation 'Claim' on task id 5

Where as if they use same user to authenticate they are able to claim the task.

Environment

  • Red Hat Process Automation Manager (RHPAM)
    • 7.12.0
  • Red Hat Single Sign On (RHSSO)
    • 7.5
