AMQ Streams Drain cleaner does not handle FIPS mode

Issue

  • When running AMQ Streams Drain cleaner on a FIPS-enabled OpenShift cluster, we see the following errors in the log:

    10:34:41,145 ERROR [io.qua.run.Application] (main) Failed to start application (with profile prod): sun.security.pkcs11.wrapper.PKCS11Exception: CKR_SESSION_READ_ONLY

  • The FIPS_MODE environment variable can not be applied for AMQ Streams Drain Cleaner.
