Issue

  • Satellite LDAP authentication with AD errors when a long bind password is used.
  • Satellite LDAP authentication with AD does not allow bind password over 60 characters.
  • When setting up LDAP authentication with a bind password over 60 characters one the following error is displayed.
    If you have never set up the integration before you will see the following error:

    Failed to save: Account password is too long (maximum is 60 characters)
    

    If you have set up the bind password before with a shorter password and tried to change it to one longer than 60 characters the following error will be displayed:

    LdapFluff::Generic::UnauthenticatedException (Could not bind to ActiveDirectory user DOMAIN\AD-User)
