Apache httpd does not start after php package update

Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)
    • 6.x

Issue

  • After upgrading the PHP and httpd packages, Apache server did not start. If we not include php.conf in Apache main configuration httpd.conf then Apache httpd service will start but if we include it will fail to start with no error message in error_log.
