[ReaR] Rear mkbackup fails with 'lvmdev' entry in /var/lib/rear/layout/disklayout.conf where volume_group or device is empty or more than one word

Issue

  • In ReaR 2.6 below error is encountered when rear mkrescue, mkbackuponly, savelayout workflows are executed:
ERROR: LVM 'lvmdev' entry in /var/lib/rear/layout/disklayout.conf where volume_group or device is empty or more than one word
Some latest log messages since the last called script 220_lvm_layout.sh:
