How to make an archive visible to either the system class loader or the extensions class loader

Issue

  • We have an implementation of java.nio.file.spi.FileTypeDetector, but Files.probeFileType() only searches the system classloader. Our implementation also uses javax.api classes, how can we have it loaded so it works?
