RHEV guest will not boot to Single User after migration from Xen
Issue
- Customer has migrated Xen guests to RHEV. There is a need to boot one of the guests into Single User Mode, however appending "single" on the end of the kernel line results in the system entering runlevel 3.
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization 3
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5 guest
- Guest migrated to RHEV from Xen with v2v prior to
virt-v2v 0.8.7-5
